Shipping

We are in full swing of the holiday season here at Lindsay Letters! With that, our usual processing and handling timelines are shelved until the new year. For the rest of 2016, here's what you can expect!

• We do not include prices on our packing slips, so if your purchase is being shipped as a gift, no worries!
• Canvases will be shipped via UPS. (No Saturday delivery, no signature required).
• All other products will be shipped via USPS. 

IMPORTANT STUFF:

No. 1: For Canvas orders!! Each and every canvas is custom made. If you order your canvas before Thanksgiving, our usual canvas processing, creating and shipping times apply. However, if you order your canvas AFTER Thanksgiving, our usual timeline does not apply. If you order your canvas between November 24th-December 15th, we can only promise that you will receive your canvas *by* Christmas, but we cannot guarantee that it will reach you before. Any canvas orders made after Dec 15th will not arrive by Christmas. 

No. 2: For Christmas Delivery, you need to place your order by midnight CST on Thursday, December 15th. After that, we suggest purchasing printables and e-gift cards if you need your gift by Christmas. Once all orders through the 15th are fulfilled, we will be closing up shop until the new year. You're welcome to continue to order (please do!) but note that all orders will be processed on January 9th.

No. 3: Simply put, the post office is crazy this time of year. Bless them. All that to say... if you order on or before the 15th, you *should* receive your domestic shipping order in time for Christmas. However, once the package leaves our facility, there is nothing we can do to expedite the service for a package. Once an order ships, you will receive an email with tracking info. This is the only information we have. If an order seems to be held up at the post office, unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do. (We'll be crossing our fingers along with you!) *This excludes canvas orders, which will be shipped UPS. If you're looking for a tracking number for your canvas, please email Karrah at shop@lindsayletters.com.

No. 4: We are unable to assist in tracking packages or respond to email after December 18th. We apologize for any possible inconvenience. In order to avoid cutting it too close, we encourage you to order early and everyone will be happy!

At this time, we only ship to the U.S. and Canada.

multiple packages:

To best serve you, our products will be shipping to you from several different locations, and possibly in several different shipments. We fulfill print and stationery orders in house, our canvases and framed pieces come directly from our canvas and frame manufacturing artists, and our mugs and home goods are shipped directly from our fulfillment partner. This way of shipping means that you will receive your products as safely and as soon as possible. You will receive a separate tracking email with each shipment so you can keep an eye on it's whereabouts and know when to expect it. Also please note that some items will ship faster than others – for instance, in-stock mugs will generally ship within 2 business days and canvases, due to their custom nature, will take about a week to be created just for you before it ships.

Each canvas is created custom just for you! Please allow 7-10 business days before your canvas ships via USPS. Once your canvases enters production, the status of your order in your account will show as "fulfilled." As soon as possible after your order ships, we will update the tracking information, which you will receive in the form of a link via automated email. Thanks so much for your patience while we create something beautiful for you!  

shipping times for art prints and non-canvas items:

New – F A S T E R  S H I P P I N G ! ! ! Unless it is noted as a backordered item, your order will be fulfilled at our shop within 3 business days. At checkout, you can choose a variety of shipping methods (through USPS). You'll be notified via email with a shipping notice and USPS tracking # on the day that we send out your order. Kindly allow some time after your tracking number is generated and sent to you before the tracking info displays as valid. (It just takes some time for the post office to scan packages into their system).

handling:

We take pride in carefully packaging each order. Once the package leaves our shop, we are unable to control how it is handled by the post office and sometimes accidents happen. If you received an item that is damaged or lost in the mail, please notify us as soon as you can – we're happy to replace the product. We double and triple check each order before it leaves our shop, but if you receive something that is less than perfect on our end (the wrong print, for example, or a flaw in the paper), we'll happily send you a new one at no cost. (In events like these, any photos and additional info will help us greatly in our own quality control efforts!) 

returns & exchanges:

If you ordered the wrong color/style of something and your order has NOT been fulfilled:

For your safety, our online sale system will not allow us to edit your order once it's been made. This means that we can't go in and update your order with your correct choice. Additionally, we're unable to manually switch out your product for you, because our site tracks inventory in real-time. This means that in order for us to keep an accurate tab on our product inventory, all orders need to go through our online ordering system. If you ordered and realized that you ordered the wrong color or style, please place a totally new order for what you'd like, and then email us (shop@lindsayletters.com) with your original order number and we'll refund that original order ASAP.

Return/Exchange policy for once your order HAS been fulfilled:

CANVASES //
Returns: Because each canvas is custom made just for you, we are unable to accept returns on canvases, even for other shop merchandise/store credit.
Exchanges: We are happy to issue exchanges on canvases within one week of receiving your order. You are responsible for paying for the additional $14.95 shipping of the replacement canvas. To begin the exchange process, please click here. At checkout, please check the gift note box – this will provide you with a space to write notes. In the note box, please include your original order number as well as the exact specifics (color, size, frame choice) of the replacement canvas you would like. You are not required to ship back the original canvas you received, but we do require photo proof that you have destroyed the original merchandise. The easiest way to do that is to cut a large square out of the center of the canvas and send a photo to shop{at}lindsayletters{dot}com. We hope you love your new canvas!

PRINTS //
We are happy to issue a return/exchange on any product other than canvases. We will begin to process the request once we have received your merchandise back to our shop.
