Hello, I'm so glad you're here! So, here's the short version: I dreamt up first stationery line when I was five and took a calligraphy class when I was 10, went to school to be come a graphic designer, graphic designed, started creating custom wedding invitations, started addressing said invitations, and fell madly in love with lettering (and Dugan). After years of focusing on custom work and event stationery and blogging about my projects, I decided to step out in faith and turn my portfolio blog into an "official" online shop in 2012 – the month our little Eva turned 1. I have a high value of surrounding myself with beautiful and inspiring things, and felt that I wanted to use the gifts God's blessed me with in order to make meaningful art that people can put in their own spaces and be inspired by. Why? Because you are worthy of meaningful art. I am so so SO blessed to be able to do what I love every day. I am grateful to God for this opportunity, and I'm grateful to YOU for your support!
I believe that when we intentionally surround ourselves with beautiful and meaningful goods – maybe even one – we feel special, happier and more hopeful. I want to produce hope-filled art that is on trend and ahead of the curve, making it easy for people not to have to decide between positivity and style. I want LL to be an upscale company, and for the intentionality and quality of the product to supersede expectations, surprise and delight. I want for someone to receive their package in the mail and think "this is really special, and so am I."
I love authenticity, iced coffee, playing with my kids Eva Love (5) and Phoenix Brave (1), trying out new recipes, wandering antique malls, running, exploring fun spots in Madison with my youth pastor husband and creating – mostly with iPad or brush in hand, music on, candle going, and more iced coffee. (Check out my blog and Instagram for the latest!)
